Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for delivering high-quality fencing solutions. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of fencing, domestic and commercial, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Initially to start self employed day rate moving on to full time salary employment.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of fencing, including wooden, concrete, chain link, and metal.
• Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper alignment.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing fences.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their fencing needs and provide recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Skills

• Previous fencing experience, minimum 3 years proven as a lead fencer .
• CSCS card.
• Full clean Driving Licence.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fencing installation.
• Ability to plumb and level fences accurately for optimal installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Danbury Fencing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver & Fence Panel Maker to join our growing team.

This is a varied role combining the manufacture of high-quality fence panels with the delivery of products to customers throughout Essex and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing fence panels and other timber products to company standards
• Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Delivering fencing materials and products to customers and sites
• Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of company vehicles
• Assisting with stock control and general yard duties
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely

Requirements

• Full UK driving license (essential)
• Experience in driving vans or light commercial vehicles
• Practical workshop, carpentry, manufacturing, or fencing experience preferred
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry heavy materials
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
